Simone Band

LeShawn Thomas is a world class bassist from New Jersey who has recorded and toured with numerous high profile major label recording artists.

In 2007, he made his television debut performing with music legend and icon Patti LaBelle. He performed at the 2008 BET Inauguration special with Jasmine Sullivan, recent winner of the 2022 Grammy for R&B Album of the Year. Over the years, he's performed on various TV programs like Good Morning America with Grammy award winning artists Brandy and Monica as well as Elle Varner.

As a touring and session bassist, LeShawn has played bass for Ashanti, Cardi B, Angie Stone, Ryan Leslie, and the inimitable Deborah Cox.
