ALEJANDRO
Born and raised in Havana, Cuba, Alejandro started his musical education when he was 7 years old. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance.
He has toured both United States and Latin America and played at multiple prestigious festivals, such as San Remo jazz festival, Halifax Jazz Fest, Ravelo World Music festival and Latino Americando Salsa Festival, Jazz in Lugano, to name a few.
He has toured with Ry Cooder’s Rythms del Mundo band, Josh Groban, Buena Vista Social All Stars reunion and many, many more world renowned Artists.
Alejandro started his own contemporary jazz and Latin soul project called “Zakred” and is recording his debut album.

Alejandro is a currently also Professor at Columbia University.
