MAGDALENA BALDYCH
Owner, founder and CEO, Magdalena Baldych was born in Gdansk, Poland and raised in Gorzow Wlkp. Magdalena Baldych began her musical education as a classical guitar student at the Public Music School in Gorzow Wielkopolski and a choir singer in her hometown church. She graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications Arts and later studied Jazz Vocal Performance at City College of New York.
During her early college years, Magda performed with local Polish bands during private parties and festivals. These were the experiences that really taught her how truly passionate she was about being on stage, singing, and putting live shows together.

In 2011, she wrote and produced her debut album, "Wspiac sie na najwyzszy szczyt" and invited some of the top New York City session musicians to record. In 2013 she appeared in two very popular TV singing competition shows, the X-Factor and The Voice, making it all the way to the finals.
Magda was invited to perform the American National Anthem at the Red Bull Arena in front of 20,000 people four times so far as well as multiple nationally televised boxing events at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, Mohegan Sun Arena and Atlantic City. Magdalena has also written songs for other artists, continues to write and record original music and played shows in venues all over America, including the world-famous Blue Note Jazz Club, Village Underground, DROM, Arlene's Grocery, Fontanas, Bowery Electric, Brooklyn Nigh Bazaar, Chance Theater, Shrine, to name a few.

After years of performing for both Polish and American audiences, Magdalena recognized that there was a need for a unique, upscale live entertainment company that caters to both cultures simultaneously. She combined all her experiences of working with both Polish and American bands and created Simone Band. From the very beginning, this company was built on its reputation of professionalism, top-tier talent, and energetic, interactive performances. With nearly a decade in the private event industry, we know one thing is certain: there is no other company that strives for and delivers this level of excellence for the Polish-American community.
